I have worked with Savannah since 2010; when redesigning the most recent version of the website the goal was to make use of powerful imagery to tell the story of the charity’s work, as well as profiling the schools that the charity has built. Having an easy route through for e-mail sign-up and donations was key.
Savannah Education Trust is an international development charity that uses its website as its primary mode of communication. Our website is therefore of critical importance, and it is no exaggeration to say that we have been thrilled with the site designed by Hexagon. We like the design and functionality and the way in which we now feel in control of the site. We are impressed with the clarity of the design and the easy, intuitive navigation. We were very keen to appoint a web designer who could ‘get under the skin’ of the charity: to understand what we do and how we communicate. In short, someone who could share and articulate our passion for the work. Sarah Hills spent a long time taking a careful brief, and then used that knowledge very intelligently to frame the design. We have received a lot of positive comment from funders and other users of the site. I have worked with other website designers on other projects and hence have some points of comparison. I would have no hesitation in strongly recommending Hexagon.
